I am writing you today to let you know how pleased we are with the improvements my son has made since taking your "Speedy Reading" class in December. Before taking this class his grades were rapidly going down and he was having such difficulty with all of his classes on a day to day basis with Grades ranging from one "B" and the rest "C"s and "D"s. He was really struggling in 7th Grade and asked for help. We found  you and decided to let him try your class as we felt this was the main area that was holding him back. Although this class primarily consists of High School age children we were willing to give it a try.
I am very happy to report that my son not only enjoyed the class and the way it was taught by the instructor Mark he also stated that it was fun. Since December his grades have sky rocketed up to almost all straight "A"s and two "B"s. He couldn't be happier as his confidence has grown and he is no longer struggling in school or with his homework. He is getting his work done in half the time and all of his teachers have taken note of his improvements and tell him what a great job he is doing. This class has completely changed his outlook on school only for the better and he is now a much happier child and for that we are sincerely grateful to you!   Thank you all for offering such a great class and we will definitely be using you again in the future

"50% of my kids have family issues and they take 90% of my time.  I wish I had more time for the other 50%."

~ Middle School counselor in Connecticut

"This school doesn't have many kids venture to college outside Metro New York or New Jersey.  So we don't know distant colleges well."

~ School official from a small public Northern NJ high school.

"There's a searing need for you.... I'd like to help you get contracts with more schools.  You are offering what they CAN'T."

~ Former principal (MA and CT schools).

“We can’t be all things to all students.  As it is my counselors have a 120 student case-load.  And the district wants to
push our case-load even higher still.”

         ~   D.S., guidance director of a suburban 9 – 12 school.

“I’m the only counselor now and can’t wait to retire [in 5 years].  They won’t fill even the slot for the assistant I lost.  See that stack? [of nearly student 150 files].  It’s only going to get bigger!  Who loses? Every kid who could be better situated for college or for funding college.  I’m here 6 days a week, but I can’t serve them all well.”

So, here’s my report…after ten hours on her own, and a few with you, my daughter is blissfully DONE. Accepted at her top choice school, and holding three offers with significant financial aid for my husband and me.    Many of her classmates are still struggling, with one or zero offers.

“We’ll see results in the fall, but for now…wow!   There is so much our counselor has provided that we could not have received at _________ High.  Whatever we’re paying you, it’s worth it.”

“The school guidance my son has received has not been helpful.  He’s a normal kid, and he has counselors whose time is mostly filled with students who have special problems.   In the process, normal kids lose out.  I feel like I as parent have
to take on another role that should be the school’s…. Thank you for being there to help us.”

“My daughter and I worked with EE for three sessions.  We learned more about the admissions process in these three hours than in three SEMESTERS with our school’s counseling department….I’m in a GOOD suburban school district.  You stand head-and shoulders above what the school does because you are not constrained like the school.
I wish we had you with my older daughter.
